Teddy Bear's Picnic recognises that you will always be the most important influence in your child’s life. Getting involved and talking to us at the school, helps the staff know your child. The school will hold regular parent’s evenings to provide you with the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress. It is important to us to understand as much about your child and a typical week in his/her life as possible. For example if a new baby has joined the family at the weekend or your child always spends the weekend at Grandma’s, knowing this will help us understand why your child may be a little more tired than usual on Monday. We can then allow for this and adapt the child’s routine and activities to suit his/her individual needs for that day. We realise that it is imperative we gain the trust and confidence of
you, the parent. We want you to be happy with what we do and how we do
it. We also pride ourselves in understanding the importance of
instilling confidence and enthusiasm in your child from an early age.
After all, our collective aim is for happy and contented children who
enjoy living in a culture that nurtures and values the importance of a
happy childhood.
We are a small school so we are like a family. Our door is always open to discuss anything related to your child at anytime.
